The nearly 200-acre industrial park will be located on the eastern edge of the airport on State Highway 161 in Irving. It’s slated to include four buildings spanning a total of 2.4 million square feet, wrote the Dallas Morning News. The largest of the proposed buildings will boast over 1.4 million square feet.
The developer is planning to sign a long-term lease with the airport’s board to build the project.
Constructing the park will nearly double the square footage Perot Development already has built at DFW Airport. With the completion of its two newest logistics centers, the company’s portfolio includes roughly 2.5 million square feet of industrial buildings developed at DFW over the past five years.
