Economic Impact and Recovery Task Force

From County Judge J.D. Clark

In my capacity as County Judge, I am forming an Economic Impact and Recovery Task Force. The purpose of this task force will be to assist the County in understanding the economic impact due to this public health emergency and to assist other business owners in obtaining information about how to file request for assistance.

In addition to business owners and representatives, directors of Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development Corporations are strongly encouraged to apply for the Task Force. Other members will be selected in such a way as to maximize the geographic location the members are from to ensure the widest dissemination of information. We are seeking the broadest membership of industry representatives: small business, large business, manufacturing, sales, agriculture, etc.

Membership on this task force means you are willing to serve all businesses in our community, not just your own. You will be a representative for your area as well as your industry and assist with assessing the impact this emergency is having on Wise County and getting the county on the road to economic recovery.

If you are interested in serving on this Task Force, please email me at jd.clark@co.wise.tx.us.
