New Capital Investment Achievements for the City of Decatur and the State of Texas

During January’s Decatur Chamber of Commerce luncheon, DEDC’s Kevin K. Holzbog joined Office of the Governor Greg Abbott's Economic Development Director, Adriana Cruz, to update Decatur area businesses on Texas and local economic development activity.

The State of Texas recently won the Site Selection Magazine's top spot for most Capital Investment by companies for the 9th year in a row. Decatur EDC has recruited over $12,000,000 of new capital investment into the City of Decatur since the new Eagles Landing Business Park was developed off of CR 2264.

Local manufacturing and headquarters continue to expand adding jobs and capital investment in the community, this increases business for service industries that create more jobs and investment as a result. Decatur continues to grow because of investments by large and small businesses and responsible public-private partnerships.
