Decatur economy continues to grow

The Decatur, Texas economy continues to grow with a 22.33% year-over-year sales tax increase for January. Decatur collected $481,937 this month compared to $393,953 one year ago. Decatur EDC receives 1/3 of this sales tax funding and reinvests that money, creating new private investments and quality new jobs for residents of the Decatur area.
